Multireporter Collaboration in Liveblogs

Take your liveblog collaboration to the next level with this feature! All reporters in your organization can create new posts or edit posts made by others. To avoid conflicts, each editor will see an info box above a post if another editor is currently working on it. This ensures that multiple editors don’t unintentionally overwrite the same post. Additionally, the name of the post creator is displayed next to each post (this can be turned off by navigating to Liveblog Integration > Edit Themes). When creating a new post, you can also assign other users who have already contributed to the liveblog as authors. Do you work with freelance reporters, guest authors, or external experts? You can invite them to your liveblog via Guest Access without adding them to your organization. Read our guide on Guest Access to learn more. If you want to invite additional colleagues from your newsroom to your organization instead, please refer to this article. Enhance teamwork, avoid conflicts, and streamline your liveblog creation process!

Live Blog Guest Access

With guest access, you can invite external experts such as doctors, politicians, or additional editors to a specific live blog. Guests have full access to this live blog, allowing them to create and edit posts as well as use the comment function. This makes it easy to host Q&A sessions with readers. How to Invite Experts: Open the desired live blog. Select the guest access icon in the middle of the editing area. Click "Invite Guest". Enter the guest’s name and email address. Define how long the guest should have access. The invited expert will receive an email with an invitation link to the live blog. Managing Authors & Bylines in a Live Blog

You can manage the authors and their bylines directly in the settings of a Tickaroo live blog. In the settings menu of each live blog, you will find a tab called Authors next to the general settings. This tab gives you an overview of all authors who have contributed to this live blog. You can also easily add new authors – for example, if someone can not write posts themselves but a colleague will post on their behalf. In addition, you can customize each author's Byline here. Note: The byline settings apply only to the current live blog and will not be transferred to other live blogs.
