When creating a new sports ticker, you can either enter the teams manually or select pre-created teams from your Tickaroo sports data, including logos and player details. When you select a goal, the scoreboard in the sports template updates automatically. With Live Sports Data, all team, player, and match information will load automatically, saving you time. If you create sports live blogs with Tickaroo and use one of our sports templates, you can easily tease your current match on your website using the Tickaroo Teaser Widget. Within the Tickaroo Theme Generator, you can now create a Teaser Theme in addition to your Liveblog Theme and generate your widget code with just a few clicks. Embed the Teaser Widget on your homepage to highlight key updates from your sports ticker, either through highlight posts or your latest posts. When your readers click on the teaser, they will be taken directly to the linked post in your liveblog. As with the Liveblog Theme, you can customize the Teaser Widget Theme directly in the editor in "liveblog integration". A live indicator on your homepage will let your readers know that the match is currently live. You can also place your liveblog behind a paywall to generate additional subscriptions. Note: This feature is not enabled by default in your organization. Please contact your Tickaroo representative or support@tickaroo.com for more information. Use event-based advertising to automatically display ads within your Tickaroo sports live ticker. With your ad manager, you can define which ad should be displayed for specific liveblog events. Please note that this feature works exclusively with sports templates. For example, if a goal is scored or a player is substituted in your football ticker, a perfectly matching ad can be triggered for that post – as demonstrated by NOZ. Alternatively, you can set ads to appear after a certain number of posts, giving you full flexibility. You can find more information on ad integration in this Helpdesk article and in our developer documentation. Note: This feature may not be included in your current package. Please contact your Tickaroo representative or support@tickaroo.com for further details. Read our blog post on how to level up your live sports coverage strategy in three quick ways.
