Tickaroo Live Blog Integration

To display live blogs and live tickers on our website, we use the live blogging service Tickaroo, provided by Tickaroo GmbH, Waffnergasse 8, 93047 Regensburg, Germany.

The service enables the delivery and real-time updating of content. When using the live blog, technical usage and access data are processed to provide the service and ensure its stable and secure operation.

This includes:

  • Access logs (IP address, date and time of access, requested URL)
  • Anonymized analytics data (e.g. clicks, page views, data requests, and technical loading and timing information)

This data is used to provide the live blog and to ensure system security (e.g. protection against DDoS attacks and the detection and analysis of security incidents).

Tickaroo also generates anonymized usage statistics. IP addresses contained in access logs are stored for a maximum of four weeks and are then deleted or anonymized. Anonymized log and statistical data may be stored beyond this period.

Technically necessary cookies may be used as part of the service where required for the operation of the live blog.

Tickaroo processes this data as a technical service provider on our behalf.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and technically reliable provision of our content).
