Sponsored Event Posts allow you to highlight selected match events with sponsor branding, custom colors, and logos. This feature is currently available only in the Football Template.
How It Works
Sponsored Event Posts are regular liveblog posts that are marked using a specific tag.
Once tagged, custom styling can be applied to make these posts stand out visually and display sponsor information.
Step 1: Enable Tags
- Open your liveblog settings.
- Enable Use tags.
- Click Manage tags.
Step 2: Create a Sponsor Tag
When creating the tag:
- Add a tag name
- Define a unique identifier
- Optionally upload a sponsor icon
- Optionally hide the tag from readers
The identifier is important because it is used for styling the sponsored posts.
Step 3: Tag a Match Event
- Open the event or post you want to sponsor.
- Apply the sponsor tag.
- Save your changes.
The event is now marked as sponsored content.
Step 4: Customize the Appearance
Sponsored Event Posts can be customized using CSS.
You can:
- Add a sponsor logo
- Display a "Sponsored by" label
- Change background colors
- Adjust text colors
- Create a fully branded appearance
We recommend connecting a custom CSS Style to your theme. Alternatively, CSS can also be added directly on your website. Here is our technical guide.
