Activating Tags:
When creating a new live blog, you can already choose whether to activate tags. You can also activate tags in already created live blogs through the live blog settings.
Tags must be activated if you want to use them. If this feature is not visible to you, please contact your Tickaroo representative or [email protected].
Creating Tags:
Create new tags in the settings of your live blog.
Editing Tags:
Tags can be edited at any time in the live blog settings.
Using Tags for Posts:
Create a new post and select the desired tag(s) below the rich text field. The chosen tags will now appear in the live blog preview above your post.
For more information about how tags are displayed on the website, see below.
Filtering by Tags (Editorial Team):
To make the editorial team’s work easier, live blog posts can be filtered in the editor preview on the right side. In addition to the option to filter by published, unpublished, and highlight posts, you can now use tags to select which posts are displayed to the editorial team in the preview.
This does not affect how the posts are displayed to your readers on the website.
Filtering by Tags (Readers):
If you also display the tags on your website, your readers can filter the live blog for content that is relevant to them.
Tag Settings in the Theme Generator:
Open the theme that you are using or want to use/edit for your website. Under options, you will now find various settings for the tags:
Tag Display: Determines the position or visibility of the tags on a post on your website.
Tag Filter: Choose between Tag List (tags are displayed side by side on the website, max. 12 tags), Tag Search (a kind of dropdown, automatically activated for more than 12 tags), or No Filter (if tags are only for internal use or live blogs have already been pre-filtered).
Tag Syndication using Content Streams: If you are using our Content Stream feature, you have the option to use tag syndication to organize live blogs.
You can automatically syndicate individual posts tagged with specific tags from a source live blog into a new live blog.
